A Late GBBD Post!

 The Cactus blooms never disappoint. 

 This was a before and after photo- less than 24 hours in-between.  

 Do you see him- it's a Hummingbird Moth.  They are so fun to watch and SO FAST!

 The Althea are blooming.

  The Clerodendron are blooming.

 The Vitex are in full bloom here and all over the city.

Happy late GBBD April 2016!  

Hard to believe it is already April.  We have had a crazy spring- early, incredible weather, and as of late lots and lots of rain.  Here are some photos of what has been blooming as of late!  Hope you enjoy!

The cactus blooms never disappoint. 

 The Aloes are blooming away

Who doesn't love Iris blooms??

The Kalanchoe's are all blooming like crazy.

The Kniphofia's are such a cool bloom!!

 

Not a bloom but I thought it was a neat photo.

The Pineapple Guava are blooming away.

The butterflies are all over the Lantana!!

Another cactus bloom- hard to show the scale here- they are MASSIVE.

It has been rainy here in Austin as of late and the rain has been wonderful!!

If only you could scratch and sniff the photos!!!

 The Copper Canyon Daisy have a wonderfully divine lemon smell.

 The Thomas Affleck Rose- I want to cut off all the blooms off and take them inside.

The Wisteria- how can anyone NOT love the Wisteria!!!

The cactus bloom is not fragrant but it was so pretty I just had to include it anyway.

Spring is here - and I for one could not be more excited.

Hopefully we have seen the last of the cold snaps- it was 34 here this week and 78 today.  Texas.  All I can say.  Gotta love it.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
