Diving in the Dianthus

The Swallowtails were having a heyday this week in the Dianthus.
They were all over it!  It was so fun to watch.
They looked like they were falling into the blooms!

They could have cared less that I was right there with them-
they were totally content in "Dianthus love".

I got a couple of double shots too!!!
He was looking right at me- it was so funny!
Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I am personally loving this weather.  Things are blooming all over the place and everything is coming to life!

  2. Is it just me or do the swallowtails seem exceptionally big this year? They leave huge shadows on the lawn as they fly overhead!

  3. Great pics of your butterfly cafe! The caterpillars are already hungrily munching down on my parsley and fennel. Have you seen any caterpillars yet?

    1. Yes- from what I can tell (with the little knowledge I have...) I see Swallowtail and Monarch caterpillars- I see them at home too ALL OVER the parsley, but they are here at the nursery as well. Butterfly Cafe- hahaha that's cute!

  4. So pretty! I love when I see a butterfly loving a certain plant. I know then that that plant's a real winner! Great photos!
