Living Walls / Vertical gardening.. seems to be all the rage lately here in Austin, Texas. Not everyone is doing it, but a lot of people are talking about it. What a wonderful way to have all your succulents, echeveria and sedum in one place!
I think they are simply stunning. The combinations are endless. You can make them virtually any size you want, any shape and any design.
Depending on your particular climate you could have them indoors, outdoors or in sun rooms.
I have seen them in a variety of places, area and cities and never get bored of looking at them. Here are some photos of ones we have visited recently.
Just amazing!!!
Hope you enjoyed the photos!!!
These are so neat and I would love to have one in our garden. Have a great week.

Hello kacky !
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of gardening .. living walls are stunning and I only wish I could do this here .. but the weather just won't cooperate. It still amazes me that my Hen's Chicks come back every year after awful winters ... stubborn little creatures eh ? haha Thanks for stopping by my blog : )

Very cool! I fear a living wall would not survive winter in Maine. My daughter is thrilled to be assigned to a dorm with a living roof.
