Denver Botanical Garden -part II

The Denver Botanic Gardens were just amazing. I posted some of the photos of the gardens in my previous post and then wanted to finish it up here.

 The water gardens were wonderful.

Again, surprising to see so many things we plant here in Texas thriving there.
These lily pads apparently grow to be 4' wide and people can STAND ON THEM.  I googled it and saw lots of images about it- too fun!!!!
I loved the sculpture that was throughout the gardens as well.

 The Japanese Gardens were amazing.

The Desert Willow was blooming like crazy.
The Arizona Cypress looked great - one of my personal favorites.

Everything was well maintained, thriving and just beautiful!!!!  We had a wonderful time- hope you enjoyed the photos!

  1. Denver truly has one of the most amazing gardens. Did you happen to see the boards which show how much each of their project cost and how the funds were raised. Lots of bonds! Glad you enjoyed your visit.
